This year has been filled with many ups and downs:
1) I gave up my job in March because the excessive hours were killing me.
2) I bought a "new to me" used SUV in May.
3) I had a cancer scare in June.
4) I had life saving surgery in July.
5) I won the first scrapbooking contest I ever entered and received a free stamp set from Cruise and Crop!!
I am on the mend now. God has carried me through the low and high times as he always does. Phil. 4:13 is a promise I claim often! I am ending the year on a high note. I was offered a contract position with an awesome company. What a great Christmas present!! .
Speaking of Christmas presents, do something different this year. Share your blessings with others. This can be a frugal gift or something more special if your finances allow.
1) Donating food to a local pantry would also be a blessing.
2) Remember those travel size soaps and shampoos you collected at the hotel during your last trip? Those, along with a warm cap and gloves would be a special blessing for a homeless person.
3) Pay the toll for the vehicle behind you.
4) Buy a meal for that single mother in line behind you at the restaurant.
Giving doesn't have to be something big. Just pay it forward with the blessings God has bestowed upon you. God is GOOD! Share His love with others this holiday season! Then, carry on this behavior into the new year.
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!!
Until next time,
Kim :)
