Memories

I have considered blogging for many years.  Tonight I decided to take the plunge.  I guess I became bold enough after uploading some of my scrapbook pages to my Facebook photo album.  They were well received by my family and friends on Facebook.
I generally keep those private.  My love affair with scrapping began shortly before my six year old son died in 2003.  We were falling in love with paper crafting as we archived our favorite vacation.
After his death, scrapping became therapy for me. Most of my pages are preserving memories of my precious son.  His life was one taken much too soon from this earth.  Some day when I am old and gray (when I give up my addiction to Garnier Nutrisse!), I want to be able to re-live those moments with a clear focus.  I believe the journaling and pictures will provide that detailed recollection.  If not, they will be pretty books to enjoy!
I also make baby books and cards for family and friends.  Someday I hope to make money with the fetish I have for paper crafting!  Until then, I have many happy friends and family!
Have a blessed day!
